Spring update

Sitting at my desk on a glorious spring day has inspired me to look back over the last few months and take stock of my progress.

It’s certainly been a busy start to 2019. I began January by finishing my first wildlife drawing of the year … a gorgeous nuthatch. This was soon followed by a doberman portrait and a very handsome cocker spaniel – I loved drawing those gorgeous long ears (click on images below for more detail).

I then launched my wildlife art commissions, designed new gift wrap for packaging, launched a new gift range and gift certificates (click on images below for more detail).

Next it was time for my pet portrait giveaway competition, before moving onto a cat’s eye study, launch of my occasional newsletters, brown hare drawing and a fun toad sketch to accompany my entry into the Spring Nature diary (click on images below for more detail).

I have just completed a harvest mouse drawing and next in line is a lynx, which I am really looking forward to.

Over the course of the last few months, I have also added a number of drawings to my Etsy shop, including release of my wildlife art card originals. You can check out my shop here.

That brings us up to date! Can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store 🙂
