Launch of Patreon Channel

I am excited to announce the launch of my very own Patreon channel, which will enable me to continue to provide the updates and interactions that have been found to date on my social media pages, plus a whole lot more, to those who are interested in my drawings and artistic journey.

How does it work?

It runs on a membership basis, whereby there are different tiers of membership to choose from, each one with its own unique benefits. The first tier, for example, only costs the price of a cup of coffee each month and provides access to special offers, work-in-progress updates and behind the scenes pics.

Why have I chosen to set up a Patreon channel?

Quite simply, it takes a lot of time and investment to create the content and features that my followers enjoy so much on social media: work-in-progress photos, time-lapse videos, running offers and discounts, behind the scenes pics etc.

Creating a members’ hub means that I can continue to produce the content that people enjoy,  and more, resulting in reciprocal benefits.

What will happen to Kate Priestman Art social media pages?

My social media pages will of course keep running. I love interacting with my followers on these pages and I am very appreciative of their support. However, going forwards, posts such as my work-in-progress updates and behind the scenes will be moved to Patreon, whilst my Facebook and Instagram pages will still showcase my finished artwork.

Sounds great – how do I find out more?

Hi Kate, what an excellent and interesting idea. Ive been toying with the idea of Patreon myself, and it’s encouraging to see other people in a similar field having taken the plunge. I hope it works brilliantly for you, and you’re right, the social media stuff is very time consuming, patreon does make sense. I wish you all the luck in the world, and congratulations!

Many thanks Lizzie. Appreciate you getting in touch 🙂 Early days, but hopefully momentum will build. I am sure that if you did set up on Patreon it would be a great success. All the best, Kate
