Original drawings are mounted and framed in a light-weight black wooden frame to complement the artwork. Mount board is by default a charcoal-black colour.
The frame is handmade in the UK and uses wood from sustainable UK sources. For safety reasons during transportation – I want to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition – the frame is supplied with clear perspex rather than glass (visually, perspex provides an identical finish to glass). Perspex also makes the frame light-weight for hanging purposes.
Artwork is priced individually (the price excludes postage). Sizes provided relate to the frame size of the mounted drawing. Drawings will not have the ‘© Kate Priestman Art’ watermark when purchased.
Inks used in original drawings comprise indian ink and acrylic ink – these are highly pigmented inks, waterproof and very lightfast. Paper (including mount) is acid free and complies with the highest archival quality standards.
