Bringing your project to life
I specialise in realistic illustration that focuses on the natural world – a twenty(plus)-year background in ecology means that I bring an additional layer of understanding to the subject matter, and an all round passion for nature ensures that each illustration is approached with sensitivity and care, and always has your vision and requirements at its heart.
Areas I can help with include editorial (magazines, books, leaflets), packaging/merchandise, stationary (weddings, events, business) and websites. Potential clients include wildlife and environmental organisations, private companies, publishers, authors and design agencies.

There are a couple of options available when it comes to illustration: you can either choose to commission a bespoke illustration(s) for your particular project, or licence an existing drawing.

How illustration commissions work
As a member of the Association of Illustrators, all of my illustration work adheres to standard best practice, whereby the illustration artwork is licenced for a specified use; therefore, each quote is bespoke to the requirements of the particular commission, including usage of the artwork, length of time needed, and distribution/territory requirements.
Following receipt of the brief, ideas will be drafted out before being progressed into the finished artwork. The finished illustration will be emailed over as a high-resolution digital image file to be incorporated into your project and bring it to life.
